In 1900, German toy train manufacturer Marklin introduced the O Scale model. O Scale trains were quite common in the US during the 1930’s through the 1960’s. O gauge model trains are still used by toy train hobbyists, though they are not as popular as they once were. With collectors taking interest in a variety of vintage O Scale trains, O Scale just might be gaining popularity once again.
